In April and May 2010, 253 health professionals who have contact with new mothers were involved in the Colic Report survey.
Respondents included general practitioners, pediatricians, health visitors and midwives. The health professionals were interviewed face to face and over the telephone. Topics of discussion included the cause of, treatment of and medication for colic in young babies.
